At a glance

Women encouraging women! The women’s ministry of Open Door Bible Church desires to draw women into relationship with each other as they get to know God and His word better.

 
 

Purpose Statement

  • Reaching women with the life-changing gospel of trusting Jesus Christ as Savior
  • Building women to grow in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ as they become prayer warriors who study the Bible and base their entire lives on the Word of God
  • Involving women by helping them discover their God-given gifts for ministry while they learn to use their gifts to meet the unique needs of women and their families within the church and community

Women's Ministry Events

  • Women's Bible Studies are held throughout the year.
     - Young Moms Group
     - Other book/topical studies
  • Women to Women is a special chance to meet with another woman as an encourager, prayer partner, and friend.
  • The Breakfast Club is a quarterly opportunity to have fellowship in a small group setting.
  • Baby Showers are held for first babies.
  • Hospitality Committees plan all the monthly social activities of the church.
  • The Meals Ministry provides meals in the home for those who have a need due to a birth, death, illness or surgery.
  • Nursery is provided for infants and toddlers on Sunday mornings during the services and the ABF/SS hour.
  • Special Events such as retreats and craft nights and the Ladies Christmas Party are held during the year.
