Explanation
The main purposes we seek to accomplish through our two Sunday services are to worship God and to be encouraged through God's Word. When we worship we are telling God together that we love, worship, and trust Him. We want to give God the credit He deserves for His greatness. When we study God's word we are learning who God is, what He has done for us and how we can live in a way that pleases Him.
Description
In terms of our worship music style, we use contemporary worship music to a large degree, but blend in some of the timeless hymns that have effectively expressed biblical faith for many generations.
Since the Bible doesn't have a dress code, other than simple decency, many people dress very casually and comfortably, while others dress up more to express their worship of our awesome God. Either way is fine.
Each service includes an opportunity to give a financial offering. There is no obligation or expectation - especially for our guests. You may want to wait to give until you understand more about our ministry. Financial giving is really an act of worship where we express our appreciation for God's gift of eternal life to us.
A central part of each service is devoted to a Bible message. We are strongly committed to teaching the Bible expositionally. That means that we "expose" or teach what the Bible says and let it speak for itself. We generally study through various books of the Bible. We are convinced that the Bible is God's Word and that it is relevant to our lives.
