Open Door is led by pastors, who are overseen by a church board.
Sid and Priscilla live in Port Washington where he has served at Open Door since 1984. Pastor Sid is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M. 1984). Sid strives to make God’s word practical and life-changing. He enjoys motorcycle touring in his spare time and good coffee anytime. The Litkes have six grown children and a growing number of grandchildren.

Nate came to Open Door in 2016 from an associate pastor position in Illinois. Nate has a bachelor's degree in integrated ministries from Moody Bible Institute. Nate is passionate about sharing God’s love and helping people grow through God’s words and connection to others in the church family. He and Michelle have three grown children. Nate’s hobbies include fishing, yard work and carpentry.

Cecil grew up in Oregon in a pastor’s home. He has a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies and Theology from Liberty University. Before coming to Open Door in 2024, Cecil served in part-time ministry positions in his home church with both youth and adults. He is eager to see God’s word take root in the younger generation. Cecil and Alisha live in Port Washington with their young daughter. Cecil loves hunting and fishing in his spare time.

Eli grew up in a pastor's family (Pastor Nate) and recently joined the staff part-time assisting Pastor Cecil in supporting children's ministries. Eli is studying at Ethnos 360 in Waukesha and is engaged to be married this summer.

Jim served as our full-time associate of adult ministries pastor from 1999 – 2017. Though officially retired, Pastor Jim Engelman continues to teach Bible classes at Open Door. Jim and his wife Nora came to Port Washington after serving about 20 years as missionaries with Ethnos 360 (formerly New Tribes Mission) mostly in Indonesia. Pastor Jim enjoys gardening. Jim and Nora have four grown children.

Michelle and Anya began sharing the role of office administration and support in 2025. Anya is mom to 5 children and has been part of the church’s ministry since she came with her late husband Seth who served in two pastoral roles from 2005 to 2022. Michelle and her husband Jeff have 3 adult children and have been part of the church family since 2001.

Pastor Seth Meeks passed away suddenly on December 11, 2022. We will always cherish his passion for the gospel, for making disciples and his love for this church family. Seth came as youth pastor in 2005 and served as adult discipleship pastor starting in 2018. Your prayers for his wife Anya and 5 children are much appreciated.
The pastoral staff is overseen by a board of men committed as a team to leading the ministries of Open Door and fulfilling our purpose.
